Job Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist reports to the Executive Vice President and works along the Operations Manager. They will also provide support to recruitment and employment activities for the company including sourcing, attracting, interviewing, and referring candidates for open positions. Must meet the expected service levels and key performance metrics by filling open roles. Will be responsible for creating, driving, and continuously reviewing and updating our recruitment practices to ensure we have the highest standards to support with the goal of achieving the right people in the right role. Working alongside the wider recruitment team, taking every opportunity to present ourselves at networking and recruitment events. Work with external partners and third parties to ensure we’re at the forefront of recruitment best practice and known as a stand-out example of innovative recruitment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Sources and screens active and passive candidates for posted job openings.
Recruits all types of industry like Banking, Medical, Legal, and Logistic
Builds partnerships and collaborates with operational leadership and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and ensure shared goals and expectations are met.
Organizes and attends job fairs and other recruitment events to build strong candidate pipelines. Travels as needed for job fairs and other recruitment events.
Coordinates the pre-employment screening process by ensuring selected candidates successfully complete and pass required pre-employment background checks and screening (e.g., drug screen, motor vehicle record, license, and certification).
Provides regular recruiting updates to Operation Manager and Vice President.
Performs other related duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business.
Identifies and sources candidates through multiple search methods including, but not limited to, cold calling, social media, job boards, associations, referrals, and networking.
Manages the hands-on recruitment process, from sourcing and interviewing to offer negotiations.
Works independently and closely with team members willing to perform additional tasks as requested.
Ensures productive recruiting activities are met daily, weekly, and monthly as set forth by company goals.
Develop and maintain a network of contacts to continually build a pipeline of top talent for hard-to-fill positions.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources or a related field and 5 years of professional human resources experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with full-cycle recruiting using various sourcing and interview techniques and evaluation methods required.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency with recruitment process documentation and keeping pace with industry trends.
Advanced knowledge of recruiting and interviewing techniques.
Proficiency with social recruiting, talent management platforms, and professional networking.
Knowledge of applicant tracking systems.
Skill and ability to communicate verbally clearly and concisely and in writing.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Ability to travel occasionally, including overnight, for job fairs, recruitment events, training and/or meetings.
